Recently Camden council came to the conclusion that it was ok to remove my artwork from people’s property where i had been given permission to do it.
They claim it encourages vandalism and looks messy…..Is it not vandalism to turn up at someones property and paint over artwork that they have commissioned, without asking the owner? And how do you know that the people of Camden would prefer to look at plain brown walls over colourful imagery?
Anyway i’m not about to take legal action as i dont need more court cases in my life…but i will never get bored of painting something new where the council have tried to censor me….so roll on!
